Dear J-B WELD Company,
I became extremely frustrated with constantly cleaning the mildew from the grout around my bath
tiles. I masked them off and applied J-B WELD. Not only is there no mildew, but cleaning is a
breeze, and I get tons of compliments on the beautiful appearance!! Everyone thinks I had it
professionally done! I use your product on many other projects, like around the base of my
kitchen sink faucet. I hope folks come to realize the cosmetic value of your product in
conjunction with its strength.
Thank You,
Torrie Crocker McMinnville, Oregon

To Whom it May Concern:
Recently, a friend introduced me to your product. I was skeptical at first, then after seeing it's
"magical abilities," I'm SOLD! Wow!! This stuff (J-B WELD) really works, and works really well.
I'm now constantly finding numerous uses for it. My latest (and most money-saving) use was to
repair the power steering pump that had developed a split in its side -- a savings of $62.00 was
realized with just that repair alone!
I've found many uses around the house for it, too, like the plumbing, etc. Just wanted to let you
know. I'm a loyal fan and customer, and will definitely tell my friends and co-workers about this
remarkable product.
PLEASE keep making it!!
Sincerely,
Jerry Frazier Madisonville, Kentucky

Dear J-B WELD,
My name is Howard Norris. I own a small printing company in Dayton, Ohio. I also own a 1922 Model
8 Linotype, hot metal typecaster, which I operate and maintain as a hobby. Recently, a part broke
and I was at a loss as to how to fix it. The piece was made of cast iron -- almost impossible to
weld with traditional methods. Being a machine made in 1922, parts are scarce and very expensive.
As I was thinking of what to do, I remembered an ad for J-B WELD, and I thought maybe, just
maybe it would work. Guess what? IT DID!!! I am now back up and running thanks to J-B WELD. It
even works on parts made in the 1920's!
Who would have imagined this modern wonder could repair this antique piece of Americana! Thanks
for touting the qualities of this fine product.
Yours,
Howard Norris Dayton, Ohio

Dear Sirs:
It's not often I take the time to write to a company about its product, but I feel you people
deserve a pat on the back for producing something people can use and depend on. I was introduced
to J-B WELD by an AutoZone salesman about three years ago, and you wouldn't believe how many uses
I have found for it. I recently made about a 300-mile trip around northern Florida, and for the
curiosity of it, I took the weld package into 25 or 30 places of business. You wouldn't believe
how many had never heard of it.
I travel quite a bit, and if there is any way we could get the word out about J-B WELD, I'll be
real glad to do my part. Yours is a product people can use and need.
Your Friend,
Rex Hines Panama City, Florida

Dear J-B WELD,
I appreciate the information you gave me concerning the J-B WELD product. As I mentioned, I
have been using the product for years. I may be wrong on the time, but I believe it was a good
ten years ago when I first used J-B WELD. At that time I was making custom knives. I do
silversmithing and was purchasing the blades and putting silver handles on them. Silver, silver
and wood, silver and leather, etc. The biggest problem was how to bond the handle to the blade
-- particularly when some of these blades were (believe it or not with my silver handles) used
for throwing. I tried other epoxys -- ho-hum. One of my friends mentioned J-B WELD; he said he
had used it to hold an engine block together. I tried it. Once it "sets," it stays.
I tried it on two other projects. I made silver heads for canes. The head itself is hollow
since it would be VERY expensive to make it solid. However, once it is on the cane, the hollow
head is easily dented. It also has a light weight that is not desirable as it makes it seem
inexpensive (can't have that). The solution? I poured lead pellets inside the head until I got
the weight I wanted, filled the entire head full of J-B WELD, and shoved it in the shaft. Still
there five years later. In a second project, I had a large crystal as the centerpiece of the
cane head. The crystal was faceted and about the size of a golf ball. I made silver "arms" that
looked like they held the crystal on the shaft -- they didn't. They were ornamental. What holds
the crystal is a wire running through a hole at the bottom anchored in by -- you guessed it --
J-B WELD.
Finally, only last month, my neighbor had purchased a framework of copper pipes and fittings as
a kit that went together to make a trellis about nine feet tall. She had tried to put it
together with the epoxy that came with the kit, but it fell apart. It was a mess with dried
epoxy oozing out every joint. One thought was to solder all the joints, but it was really to
messy to get the solder to wet, even with a lot of cleansing. In addition, I didn't want the
silver color from the solder to show on the copper. I told my neighbor about J-B WELD. She said
she had already tried the epoxy that came with it. I told her she had not tried J-B WELD. I
took the mess home and ripped it apart, sanding all the joints to rough up the copper as best
I could. The problem with putting it together was that about 40 joints had to be glued and
assembled, keeping it level, straight, etc., all the time. I was afraid the J-B WELD would
"set" before I could get it all in place, which it did. However, none of these joints take
any stress once it's put together, so even though the tensile strength was compromised, it's
all rock solid now.
That's my J-B WELD stories. Have a nice day.

Dear J-B WELD,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful product. I am the maintenance man
for the Western Sizzlin of Mena, Arkansas,
In the pictures I am enclosing, you can see I repaired a vacuum cleaner with the weld. Well,
eight weeks later, it still holds strong. Again, thank you. The owners were very happy to learn
we saved them $157.00 -- the cost of a new vacuum.
Sincerely,
Phil Florence Mena, Arkansas
